Friday Update

This hasn't been the most wonderful week for me. I've had some worries with workload being too low, pay on the jobs I do have being too low and a bit of disappointment with a client. I had a great chat with someone yesterday who always makes me feel better and less alone. This business can be lonely sometimes and I do hope my writer's circle eventually does do a convention. Our fearless leader at inspiredauthor.com does live only about 3 hours from me so I'm hoping she'll arrange a Toronto writer's convention.

Some of my writer friends are wonderful. We make one another feel better, we share leads, we laugh about parts of our biz that only a freelancer can comprehend. The inside jokes are a common tie for us.

Next week I am childless for the most part so here's hoping my inbox gets stuffed with fun, creative and lucrative job offers over the next day or so.
Cheers,
Dana
