Today, I'm nominating a writer of the day that you should read. Today's writer is Dennis Lee. I read Dennis Lee as a child and loved his nursery rhymes and today I read them to my own children. Alligator Pie and Garbage Delight and Jelly Belly are all worth reading. Enjoy some modern day nursery rhymes that you can laugh about with your kids :)
I had a rough time getting my younger child to sleep at night and fought many different methods with him. Today's biggest challenge with sleeping is agreeing on which books I should read. After our nighttime routine ends, the wind down period is 2 stories. it's made a world of difference, is teaching him something, gives us quality time together and is helping to pass on a love of books.
