Rachael Ray is gonna make me Fat
I have a love/ hate relationship with the Food
Network.
At 5:30 p.m., 30-minute meals comes on and
Rachael Ray dazzles us with her fast and hearty
fare. Everything she makes can be made in a half an
hour and there are some scrumptious treats she
whips together, that's for sure.
Last week I drooled as I watched her whip up
open faced calzones oozing with cheese and
yummy strombolis in such a snap that I told my
friend who can't even cook all about it and we
discussed food for ages on the phone. I then
proceeded to make an extremely fattening dinner
that I hadn't planned on.
I need to stop watching that lady just before
dinner otherwise I'll be instead tuning into
Diet tv.
The Food Network should not be allowed on after
8:pm, either.
Emeril Live should not be allowed to tempt and
tease us at eleven o'clock when we'll stuff our
faces with food that's not up to snuff compared
to what he just cooked but that's enough to
ward off the false hunger pains we feel as a
result of watching him.
How many times have you watched Iron Chef at
1:am and then proceeded to order chinese food
delivery and spent $60 when you'd already eaten
a more than adequate dinner?
Darn you, Food network people, darn you!!
