Fudge

I say fudge in lieu of another expletive that comes to mind. Yesterday a client told me they want a rewrite of an 8000 word/10 article highly labour intensive project. I'm really bummed about it. It was much more detail oriented than any other project they've given me, I have a new editor there and found the subject matter to be less than fun to write about. Add to that, they've already paid me for the work I did so I can't turn it down.

This is a first after dealing with them for almost a year and they're a mid-level paying client so not one I really want to give up. I hope this is a one off and next assignment goes smoother.

I definitely don't have time for this rewrite and they want me to be even more anal about the way I write the rewrites than I was about the originals and let me tell you...I was pretty anal with those. Sigh.

Fudge.
